We think Reading Planet Online is
excellent for allowing all children to enjoy a
book together. Rather than it being a passive
experience the children come up to the
whiteboard and answer quizzes, highlight text,
move things around – it all enhances the shared
reading experience.

We use all the Reading Planet strands –
Rocket Phonics, Galaxy and Comet Street
Kids...the children have got a wider breadth of
exposure to different texts and we find they are
really jumping up in all of the strands now.

Children love the modern feel of
the stories. We have access to other
schemes but they’re not used as a
scheme, just additional books within
the colour band for access. Children
are much more engaged with Reading
Planet.
