Lorna will go north with her torch.
One day, Elvis was woken suddenly from his nap by a loud
horn. Barp! Barp! Barp!
Elvis looked at the road and saw a muddy green truck
trying to get past some roadworks.
How many did you spot?
Suddenly Elvis had an idea … he sprang up and ran
towards the road. The cover across the back of the truck
was torn open, so Elvis jumped up and hid inside it. He
hoped that the truck might be travelling north, towards
the countryside. This was going to be an adventure!
Elvis noticed a picture on the side of the truck of some
ears of corn and a large fork. Was this some kind of farm
truck? he thought.
