Why schools love Reading Planet...
It’s flexible and can be used for
whole-class, group and independent
reading in school or at home
We use the books for Guided Reading three times
a week and for individual reading to an adult twice a
week ⸀ We do half an hour phonics every day and the
books do link in well ⸀ In terms of a reading scheme, it’s
brilliant – it really works ⸀ It has good texts, lots of variety
of texts and good support activities ⸀

We had a child with EAL join in October
with a low PiRA standardised score of 75,
whose score is now 98 after only nine months ⸀
