Rocket Phonics is part of the Reading Planet reading programme for ages 3–11. We work alongside
literacy experts, authors and partner schools to create reading books and teaching materials that
children will truly enjoy.
The scheme provides more than 800 carefully levelled
books and eBooks across different strands to support
every learner at every stage of their reading journey.
We’ve pretty much cast aside all
other reading schemes now as we
assessed our other reading books
and book bands against Reading
Planet and found that the other
schemes didn’t match up.

Ages 4–7
This vast collection of expertly levelled fiction and non-fiction
will expand vocabulary, broaden topic knowledge, and tap into
different interests. With a range of genres, authors, content and
themes, every child will find a book to enjoy. The books are highly
decodable and will develop reading fluency and stamina and
support teaching across the curriculum.
